Make A Home Decor Date With Febreze Home for the Holidays Collection - #FebrezeHoliday

This is a sponsored post. I received a Febreze package from SheSpeaks to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.

It is almost time for family to come visit. Believe it or not, I've begun my cleaning and sprucing up. I have to begin now, or I'll panic later and run out of time.

I do not like anyone visiting my home and it's not clean. Now if I had a best bud, that wouldn't be a problem, or we'd not be friends right? WRONG. I don't have a bestie, so that means cleaning up when anyone is coming over.

As a matter-a-fact, I make sure I clean the whole house before my husband returns home. He probably doesn't even realize it, but I want him to feel welcomed in a clean and comfy home.  After all, he does work hard for us to have a home.

I struggle with allergies. I try to ensure that my space is clean and smells good. I don't want any smells around that will have me going into a sneezing fit.

This means, I need to have the right fragrance in my home. So far, I've found that Febreze works perfectly for me and my family.

I was so excited when I received the #FebrezeHoliday Collection package! Excited because I have the home fragrance squared away in my cleaning and sprucing up ritual! Thank you SheSpeaks!

I received a Febreze Noticeables Warmer, and three Febreze Noticeables Scented Oil Refills in Vanilla Latte, Apple Tart, And Frosted Pine scents.

I remember a few years ago, my family and I went to visit my in-laws for Christmas. They had cut and used a real pine tree! The smell was a delight inside the house. Of course it did shed, but that was minor to the ambiance it brought to our holidays together.

The Febreze Noticeables Pine Scented Oil Refill is my fave right now. And the perfect place for it is right beside the door in the entry way!
The wreath will already be out there, visitors come in, smells the pine scent, and then see our Christmas tree! YES I can picture it!
Speaking of wreaths, do you make your own? I've seen some really awesome ones on pinterest!

It is the perfect time of year for these fragrances to emanate from our homes. What are your favorite holiday scents?

I have a very special visitor this year and I think I shall indeed decorate. So I am very excited to use the Fun Holiday Activities cards that were included in the package. My kids and I are most excited about making the Mitten Ornament.

Mitten Ornament
What You Will Need: Felt, thread, a needle, ribbon, decorations like buttons, pom-poms, or other colors of felt, and Febreze Air Effects

1. Cut our a mitten shape from two pieces of felt.
2. Holding the felt pieces together, sew along the edges with a needle and thread, leaving the top open.
3. Fill the mittens with stuffing, and sew along the top seam until the edges are sealed.
4. Sew ribbon to the top so you can hang the ornament.
5. Decorate your mitten, spray around it with your favorite Febreze Home for the Holidays Collection scent, and display!

We want to make this because it seems easiest and most useful.
I try to do an art and craft with the kids each year, even though I'm not crafty. What better way to incorporate the Febreze theme.

Do you decorate every Christmas? Will you do a huge decor this year? If you are going to have visitors, then using the #FebrezeHoliday Collection will be perfect to keep the air smelling refreshed throughout your home.

And if you are going to be enjoying alone time, then treat yourself to a nice Febreze scent, as you cuddle up in blankets from the cold.

  6. I've always wanted to try making my own wreath, but am afraid it just wouldn't turn out right. I end up buying one at a local craft fair each year.

  8. I love Fabreeze, and I specifically like their allergen reducer spray, if they have holiday scents I'm going to have to get some because I like spraying them on my carpet and furniture after I vacuum.
