Water Washed - Kids Love - Healing Coming - #Music

My son is back from his sleepover at his good friend's house. I didn't have to worry about him. I trust the parents. He had a great time.

His sister was not too happy about him being gone. She wanted him home in a few hours! Not two days! But she didn't throw a fit, just wailed on how she missed him.

So far they seem to just love each other (and they do), but soon they'll be whining about each other left, right, and center! And if I dare to put someone in a corner or in their room to cool down for a bit, then it seems I become the enemy.

They are really good kids though and do love each other and enjoy each other's company, but they do have their kid moments of annoying.

******

These antibiotics are kicking me up and down. It's been a few days. I can breathe, but this is a really tough sinus infection. Maybe I just had it going too long without knowing what it was.
Pray for me y'all.

******

Even when the rain falls
Even when the flood starts rising
Even when the storm comes
I am washed by the water

Daddy was a preacher
She was his wife
Just tryin to make the world a better place
You know, shine a light
People started talking
Trying to hear their own voice
Those people tried to accuse my father
Said he made the wrong choice
Though it might be painful
You know that time will always tell
Those people have long since gone
My father never failed

Chorus:

Even if the earth crumbles under my feet
Even if the ones I love turn and around and crucify me
I won't ever let you down
I won't fall
I won't fall
I won't fall as long as You're around me

  2. There are so many people sick this winter. DD#2 just had her tonsils removed last Thursday and is in rough shape. I just hope she doesn't pick up something during her recovery period. That would be awful. I hope you feel better really soon, though. I totally hear you about the kiddies. Our oldest two (both girls) are only separated by 23-months in age, so they grew up being the bestest of buds. They never liked being apart when they were young. After little brother was introduced to the family things were good for awhile, but with the age difference, DD#1 gave her little bro a hard time all the time after she hit 13. lol Enjoy the peaceful conditions while they last because you're right it will change. Have a tunetastic week, Callie!

    1. It has been a really sick season.
Doesn't help that yesterday was burning up hot and today is frozen!

I really hope your DD will recover and not pick up anything!

      And thank you Cathy!

  3. Love your Post and your baby girl. You tell her she can come over & play with me when her brother goes by his friend. ;) Love your tune even though it's new to me. I love the words and the meaning to the people. Great pick my friend. Totally meaningful for this bright Monday morning. Hugs and Rock on my friend. The Lord hears you!

  5. My son and daughter used to fight with each other nonstop, but when he left for college, she boo hooed like the world was ending. Great song.

  6. Definitely will. It's just no fun at all being sick, makes you so happy when you're back to normal!!! And my older kids STILL love each other oodles and get along great, but have their moments. For the older two, they get too rowdy sometimes. I don't like rowdy. ;)

    1. Thank you Rosey.
I wonder if I'll even recognize normal when it happens again. I've been ill for so long now.

      I don't like rowdy either.
But it is good to see the love between our children :)

  7. I remember the days of one kid going to a sleepover.....usually my youngest son was glad for the opportunity to have a moment without his (very close in age) brother when older brother went off. But my oldest? He really wanted his little brother back ASAP. They may have fought like cats and dogs, but they love each other and won't let anyone do anything to hurt the other one. I love that about brothers and sisters!

Hope you feel better soon....I've just started with a yucky, yucky sinus/upper respiratory infection myself. Um....it needs to go away. Yesterday.

Loved your selection; what a pretty song!
