  6. I've never seen a ghost, but as a child we moved into my Grandmother house. She had just lost her father, who had lived there. My bedroom was directly below his, which was empty. At night I would hear the sound of his cane on the hard wood floor. At first, I would think it was my little brother messing around, but when I checked the room was empty, lights out. The noise would stop as I approached the door. After a while, I would just hear it & say, "Knock it off Papaw. I'm trying to sleep." And it would stop, lol. Years later I learned the reason we had moved in with my Grandmother. She had gotten up in the middle of the night, walked out into the hallway and ran right into her dead father! Of course, everyone thought she was just grief-stricken. I wish she had told me. I'm probably the one person who would've said, "I believe you."

  8. I have when I was in high school. I was driving a friend home on a windy road at night time and it was all foggy out and all of a sudden there was a figure of a woman in a blue night gown holding the hand of a little boy walking across the street. Scared the heck out of me but it was actually really cool!

  9. Yes, we have an "entity" for lack of a better word. We call him Fred and he follows us around. Benign for the most part, but one time when we were talking about a houseguest wanting to stay longer and he literally winged me with a coffee mug - the cupboard door opened and the cup flew on its own. I was not the only one home, and we still laugh about it - and as we didn't particularly care for that particular guests behavior we took it as a warning, it was really an affirmation that it was time for her to go. I was not hurt, btw, more an I moved the wrong way in shock when I saw it flying so it barely clipped me.
