It's about to be another busy week. And sometimes I"m ready for this dance train and sometimes I barely have time to drop it in.
Sometimes life gets so topsy turvy and you have to try to keep your foundation.
The husband says I should still use the stove. So for now I"m using the front burners and the oven. Hopefully it will be okay. I'm still uneasy using it, because it was an electrical fire.
So far the vehicles are working again and didn't cost a fortune to fix. The husband is very good at fixing things and researching things. He did get the air conditioning in the car going again and I'm thankful. Of course it's now fall and the weather is much cooler, but it's LA and sure to blaze up again.
Now to find out what's causing the surge in the vehicle when it's being driven. I hear talk of transmission. But it's very old. I think somewhere around 1998 old. She is still a good gal though.
I'm thankful I have a stove that is still working. Thankful for this car, old or not. Thankful for my husband who cares. Thankful for this day.
Hope y'all had a good weekend! Welcome again to music for the Mondays!!

Great song. It is always great to be thankful.
ReplyDeleteNew song for me, but oh so cute! Thanks for sharing, and it sure tells a wonderful story. Have a rockin' week! HUGS

You should be fine using the stove - did the problem that caused the electrical fire get fixed? And I'm glad your hubby is handy - can I borrow him? My hubby is the Absent Minded Professor, so being handy is not one of his strengths...heh! But don't tell him I said that! :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE that Tim McGraw song - always brings tears to my eyes. :) Thanks for the dance, Callie - and good luck with your busy week, here's hoping you manage to dance right on through! :)

I'm glad things are working out nicely. I hope you get a new stove soon, but hurrah it's working in the meantime. :) I like that song, it's sad, but I like it.
ReplyDeleteLove the song. Always have :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the car, when it rains it pours here, so I feel your pain.
I love Tim McGraw! The song is so good. I am glad that your car is still running, and what a blessing having a husband that is so helpful! I hope you get a new stove.
