Salute Women And Monday's #Music Moves Me - Celebrate! #Giveaway

I loved watching the Olympics.
I loved watching the Olympics with my children, discussing the different sporting events and listening to the stories of hard work and watching the goosies as they win and ran hard for the gold.

It's good conversation.

I loved that my daughter could see the spectrum of women on and around the podium. Pushing hard for their dream.

It's good for her to see kids and women out there working hard for a dream. It was good conversations.

And so we salute these beautiful female folk who make us all so very inspired and proud.

What was your best part in the Olympics?

And we are celebrating 6 years of music on the blogs today. Enjoy with us!

Drum Roll Please!   Our Spotlight Dancer is Ramona from Create-with-joy with a theme of “Songs that inspire you”!   So let’s ROCK this place!  Applause!

I love the Olympics inspirational theme.

Ladies all across the world
Listen up, we're looking for recruits
If you're with me, let me see your hands
Stand up and salute
Get your killer heels, sneakers, pumps or lace up your boots
Representing all the women.
Salute, salute!

It's who we are
We don't need no camouflage
It's the female federal
And we're taking off
If you're with me, women, let me hear you say

Sisters we are everywhere
Warriors, your country needs you
If you're ready ladies, better keep steady
Ready, aim, shoot
Don't need ammunition, on a mission
And we'll hit you with the truth
Divas, queens, we don't need no man, salute!

  4. I watched as much of the Olympics as I could thanks to my DVR. My favorite was the gymnastics and I was so proud of Simone Biles and the rest of the US team. They were amazing. I also liked watching volleyball, swimming, diving and track. OK - I like it all - even the fencing. :)

  14. I agree, it's good for the women and children to see a healthy dose of what hard work can get you, no matter your gender. :) I haven't seen a game on TV but I do watch the headlines and click on those that are interesting. :)
