Have You Ever Really Loved? - 4Ms #Music Monday Love

Last time I left the doctor, I was healthy. He was happy and so was I.

Then a year later, I'm still healthy, but needing help in another area.

Went for the yearly pap and found out that my iron levels are about the point where I'll need a blood transfusion and hematologist consultation. OY!

Doctor said the normal levels are 20-50 and I am at a 3. Oy ke va!
A 16 would have been kosher.

So I am on iron supplements for a three month stretch before they do a re-test. Yea, anemia is no fun. I didn't really feel sick, just a bit exhausted. I thought that was normal getting old thing. Or monthly dealing with it thing.

But now we now.

My daughter scored the only goal for her soccer team, but they still lost 2-1. She is still super psyched. She said, she realize, they must at least score one :) And she and the team did work so very hard at it. I'm proud of her.

My son's team worked hard and won. He too is excited that he was able to snag a goal in there too. Then he went for a camping night with a friend from school. He had much fun and can't stop talking about the experience!

While the bubz were away at camping, the baby love and I did grocery shopping, ate together and share a treat. She was a bit peeved not to have any where to hang out with friends. I reminded her to be glad for her brother and to also pray for a good friend or two so she can have those experiences again.

I'm trying to be hopeful for the future. I would like to go back to school and be able to get a good job. But I need credits for college, money and I'm sure I can find the time.

Anyway,  God is good.

Welcome to today's music.  Five years and going strong!  I hope Monday find you with a smile and music to begin your week with light steps.

  1. I have another friend that has anemia. She goes to a clinic regularly to get an iron boost every once in a while. Maybe your doctor can do the same thing for you. Congratulations to your kids for scoring goals in their soccer games! You must be proud. Have a great week!

    1. I did not know that at all. Thank you for sharing. I will raise the question to my doctor, see what he thinks.
      And thank you.

  2. I've had anemia in the past, it's something my doctor keeps an eye on. I have to take iron supplements once a month, and make sure I eat iron rich foods (like lots of spinach!) :) Hope yours gets taken care of and under control - it's no fun being fatigued!

Way to go on the goal scores! Totally proud moments. aAnd I love that quote you posted - so very true!!

LOVE Bryan Adams, and LOVE that song! Thanks for the dance - have a great week! :)

Rich and Miserable, just Grow Up A-YO Hallelujah!
