The weekend has been busy. I suppose it is like that sometimes and then it will change.
Soccer and celebrations:
Saturday the kids had soccer games. My son's team won, and my daughter's team lost. They were supposed to have a 12pm and a 3pm game, but the 3pm game got canceled.
Sunday, they also had a 3pm game. The soccer schedule is so weird, I wonder how they keep track of anything.
Both kids teams lost their games. It is my daughter's last game for the season. She is bummed. She loves soccer and wants it to go on all year :)
Her team celebrated with dinner / meal at Rotolo's. That was my first time there and I only ordered pizz for the kids.
My son will play tournament games this coming weekend. It should be interesting.
Daylight Savings Time:
Apparently, I did not heed the time change. I was awake for a few hours, doing chores etc and glanced at the microwave clock, saw that it was 9:40am, and woke the kids up. Turns out it was 8:40am. I wanted to get them up at 9:40am to begin getting ready to leave for church.
All the other clocks in the house changed, except the microwave clock, and that was the ONLY clock I happened to look at. Isn't life strange.
Before I bring my need
I will bring my heart
Before I lift my cares
I will lift my arms
I wanna know You
I wanna find You
In every season
In every moment
Before I bring my need
I will bring my heart
And seek You
(chorus)
First
I want to seek You
I want to seek You
First
I want to keep You
I want to keep You
First
More than anything I want, I want You
First
Before I speak a word
Let me hear Your voice
And in the midst of pain
Let me feel Your joy
I wanna know You
I wanna find You
In every season
In every moment
Before I speak a word
I will bring my heart
And seek You
(chorus)
More than anything I want, I want You
First
(bridge)
You are my treasure and my reward
Let nothing ever come before
You are my treasure and my reward
Let nothing ever come before
I seek You
(chorus)

Aloha

Very nice song and note to self. I need to remember that.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteCallie, I agree with your note. The time change takes a bit to adjust to. I really don't like how the daylight grows shorter as we move toward winter but the seasons quickly pass anymore so I try to not let this get me down and enjoy the moment. Thank you for the music. Have a tunetastic day, my friend!
ReplyDeleteChange do indeed.
DeleteI have taken an understanding that the seasons will change. I will adjust and thank God for being alive.
Thanks Cathy!
Thanks for the introduction to your tune! The words are phenomenal and so is your note to self. You've done it again girlfriend! YOU TOTALLY ROCK! HUGS
ReplyDeleteThank you Marie :)
DeleteBeautiful song, and I like the "note to self."
ReplyDeleteThank you John.
DeleteThat is funny about the clocks. Better to be early than late though, right? It still feels so late in the morning to be leaving, and so late at night when it's only 7pm.
ReplyDeleteIt's dark here at 5pm now.
DeleteI miss the leisure of the sun going down around 8pm, but I suppose it's just the getting used to of it all.
OH yeah, I forgot to write good luck to your son with his tournements. Let's hear soon about a victory, woot!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rosey :)
