This weekend has been non-stop rush from home, to church to soccer tournaments.
My son played in the tournaments, but his team lost all their games. It was quite a beat down really. Ouch. But I'm sure they have gained some experience. I really expected to see better quality playing from our team.
My husband has to return to work. It's a blessing that he still have a job. Please say a prayer for our family. Things are still so rough with us relationally.
Sunday was a tip. I had to call in reinforcements for assistance with my schedule. I was able to have someone from church take my daughter on Saturday evening until Sunday evening, so that I could take my son to his tournaments and get my husband to work.
My daughter had choir on Sunday and also had to attend kids crew where they sort through all the Operation Christmas boxes and ensure everything was ready for shipping.
She was super excited to finally be able to hang out with her friend from church and have a sleepover! She has been praying for this for a long time now. I remember telling her not to worry about it, pray and things eventually work out as they should.
I'm glad for her, but now the chatter goes on and on :)
Not much time to rest, but I hope I can get everyone caught up on sleep. When I picked her up from church on Sunday, we brought home Red Robbin's burgers and had another first together as we settled in with a movie. It is good to be home right?
Now for an artist that I haven't heard in a long time. Celine Dion! Oh she was everywhere at one time! I remember belting out this song every chance I got! Cracked voice and all.
Share what you are listening to with us this week and we'll come visit with you!
