I'm running late today, but it's music and I love to dance and visit my peeps so here I am.
My son had a dental appointment to discuss braces! I will not think so much about it because it's necessary, but good lamb chops the price is like a falling boulder!!
But let's hope there is some hashing out of prices in the consult.
It was really good to see this because these past few weeks I've been under tremendous mental stress. I have broken relationships. People desire that I get over it, but I require honesty in a relationship or there is no relationship. I can't be silly for thinking this way, can I?
If I continue on as if nothing has happened or is happening then I'm living a lie right? Or is it that I care too much?
I have prayed much to forgive and thought it was going well, but now that this situation is again shaken, it seems I'm pressed to a relationship that I think should have honest repair and not a pretense that all is well. I just can't live like that...I can, but I do not want to. It's too taxing on the spirit to live with people who are one way in their hearts and pretend to be another just so they can have what they want by using people.
It's quite messy y'all. Pray for me, because always I'm back and forth. I should keep working on the forgiveness so that even if this relationship is not repaired, I won't feel captive to it.
But once I did read something that said, you can forgive someone without having to trust them or even having a relationship with them, so why then am I being made to feel guilty because I think it's best for peace sake to choose this route?
So glad it's a freebie today because all I can do is try and keep up :)
Anyway, I saw this video a few days ago and thought I'd share it. haha.
Hope you laugh, but blondie can sure whip it eh!

Aloha

DeleteRelationships are so so hard. One of my kids just got slapped with his girl leaving, and EVERYONE was surprised. More than surprised. She seemed so in love with him for so long. He doesn't cry. He's crying now. It breaks my heart, absolutely breaks it. Hugs to you, and hugs to him.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite a shock always Rosey. The heart is vulnerable to the means of others so often. So sorry my luv. I can only imagine his pain and yours to watch him in this hard time. *HUGS*

ReplyDeleteGlad it got your laughing doll!
DeleteColette,
ReplyDeleteIt's always easy to say one thing than it is to actually do. Just listen to your heart and God's direction. You will get through this storm. I wonder about the whole braces things with kids. Does your son need them for health reasons, like he's having severe headaches that's often caused by misalignment with the jaws or is it for cosmetic reasons. You know our society puts so much pressure on parents to do everything for their kids and never take into account that some things are not always needed. These things put the family income and parents' peace of mind at risk. I will certainly keep you and yours in prayer. As for the relationship thing, again it's easier to say do this to expect that to happen but doing it is another matter. It's difficult to let go of hurt feelings and once someone breeches your trust then it's so hard to build back. Continue to seek God in all things. You'll never go wrong looking to Him for the answers. Man (meaning people) will always let you down but God never fails! Be blessed, dearie!
Very funny song.
ReplyDeleteI will be sending positive thoughts your way.
I had to the braces thing with my son, I am lucky because I have primo dental insurance. Still, they put me on a monthly plan for like two years to pay it off.
It seems like life is full of extra expenses, like braces. We have a man working on our air conditioner, right now. This is a necessity in the south. On another note, I love this video and posted it to my FB page. Have a great Monday.
