I want to thank you all for your care and prayers for me during this rough, uncertain and stressful stretch that I went through.
It was scary when things began happening to the one eye that I could see out of. I only see out of one eye.
Prayers going up has helped me remain rational and calm. I was so stressed about too many things and people that I almost called the surgery off. I didn't think that I should go into surgery with so much stress.
My doctor spoke to me and helped me feel alright to go ahead with it.
The surgery went well. I had only pain after but was wheeled back in so it could be handled. I only know this because my mother said it. I have no recollection of this happening. I did not feel any pain.
I've done over a month of drops and now I'm down to two drops a day and this will last just a few more days. At first, it was 4 different drops, four times a day.
I went in for my second post op and the doctor says that all is well, apart from a jelly thing in the eye that he would prefer not to be there. However, since it's not a bother to me, he sees no reason to pursue it.
If the fuzzy words don't come straight, I'll be measured for new lens soon, but in three months time, I'll still be measured for new lens he said.
I can lift normal things again and go on about life. Thank God. God is good.
Thank you all again.
Please pray for an acquaintance who just had surgery for retinal damage and her eye is still bleeding and she still cannot see after a week. She is going in for follow up and hope to hear good news. Her name is Stacy Culotta. Thanks so much.
