It is an interesting weekend.
My kids are away at our church's student ministry fall retreat. They left Friday evening after school.
I've been trying to get my son to attend for a few years now. He has been hoping to attend for quite a while too.
I decided that he would go this year! I figured I'd save all that I worked for childcare that week and with a scholarship from my church, not only was he able to attend but my daughter as well. It worked out so amazingly!
I'm so happy for them to have this experience!
I do miss them so much. I suppose it's the little adventures away that prepares you for them to leave home eventually.
My hubs is off again to work. I'm praying for him and thankful that he still has a job.
And another worry: I noticed my eye is showing quite a few silhouettes and like a swirl of ink each blink, like a whip. I'll have to call the doc.
I am trying not to worry, but it is hard. Pray for me please. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteI know it's scary and you're even paranoid. Who can blame you? I know that's the way DH has been ever since he had his detached retina repaired. I hope there is nothing of concern going on and I certainly will pray for God's healing touch to be on you and to calm your fears. Thanks for sharing Michael Bolton with us on the dance floor this week. I love his voice!
