Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self. Cyril Connolly (1903 - 1974)

Thank Thee For Thy Love So Pure And Free

December is shaping up to look quite busy and might be a tad overwhelming. I'm trying to drag my feet slowly and try not to accept too much on my plate, but when you have kids, life plots.

And I have or might have a possible court appearance if the other party doesn't settle. It's a car accident. They hit us so hard that if we weren't in our truck, we would have died. They were also in a truck.
The driver has settled, however I was shocked to learn that it's the passenger who is suing us. God help us. We already have not even enough to buy groceries weekly. Life eh. Life. Ahh I tell you, life.

But there will always be much to be thankful for.

I believe if sometimes I have the human support that I need, I'd respond better to the oncoming things, I find that these days, I tend to not respond too well. I'm worn down emotionally from having to keep strong through so much for so long.

Anyway, this song has been on my mind for a while. I haven't heard it in years and just so wanted to hear it again. I hope it blesses you!

Welcome to today's music.  Five years and going strong!  I hope Monday find you with a smile and music to begin your week with light steps.

  1. Colette,

Saying prayers that things go well with the court case. God will provide a way out of this mess. I'm just glad y'all are okay. Have a joyful and blessed week, my friend!

  2. I'll be thinking of you Colette. Thankful you are OK. Life can certainly change in an instant. May this burden be lifted from you. Thank you for the mellow singing of Jim Reeves with a reminder of what we must never forget.

  3. Hoping that all goes well in court. Great song, thanks for sharing it.

  4. Wait... THEY hit YOU and the passenger of the THEY is suing YOU? Oh man, people are so sue-happy these days! I'll definitely keep you in my prayers, my friend. I'm just glad you're OK after the accident. Shouldn't you guys be suing them because they hit you?? Crazy world we live in. Love the song, very nice!
