Master Lock Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Research & #Giveaway

The Month of October is over but that does not mean awareness for Breast Cancer should be over. Research continues from all the funds raised and is being raised. Women can find help in getting the funds needed for their medical care, and the sharing of the importance of  taking breast health seriously continues.

Every woman needs to understand the importance of being a part of this campaign. You can save your life or your friends or anyone else you share with, reminding them to do their breast exams.

Challenge yourself to put notes around your home to remind you to be faithful with your exams. It is so easy to forget or get bored or just can't bother. Ask a someone to keep you accountable, it does help keep us on track when we are not alone with our plans.

Master Lock is one of the companies that are supporting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Right now I have their combination padlock which is pink and has the tag line: 'Help unlock a cure.' This padlock is perfect for anyone looking to have something that stands out from the regular grey or black padlocks.
A college kid would love to have a padlock like this showing their personality and easily finding their locker out of the row.

The padlock is pretty easy to use. You just have to remember your password! :) Choose something that makes sense but still not easy to figure out by others.

You can check out all the other pink products that Master Lock is using to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

Women Share Their Battles With Breast Cancer

I had a sort of discussion with a love one who thought all the pink being show around wasn't necessary. YES IT IS NECESSARY!
It helps get the funds needed to help so many who will need help in the fight against breast cancer and it helps every to start talking and doing something about their health to ensure they can find help before something becomes 'too late' and 'I wish I had known.'

With that, I just wanted to share this story I read about these women. One thing that stands out more than ever was: "You can get breast cancer even if it does NOT run in your family" and people NEED to know this instead of feeling safe in a shell.

Eudene Miller Simmons

"Accept your faith. God has a plan for you, and you are never going to be alone."

I was diagnosed on...
"June 30, 2010."

My immediate reaction was...
"Total denial. Though I ultimately came to terms with it."

I get stressed out by...
"The stupid people that still believe they can't get breast cancer if it doesnít run in their family."

Breast cancer is...
"A sudden road block that takes a lot of time to get around. But with good care you can surpass it, and come out on top."
