My question is:
Do you let your child go barefoot at the playground?
There is no way I'd let my child go barefoot at the playground. In our yard yes, but at the playground no.

No way. Too many freaky people leave weird things! But backyards and sidewalks are great! :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not by choice. Though my kids have been known to take off their shoes and run around barefoot anyway for an undisclosed amount of time before I've noticed;)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely not! I don't even like them to wear shorts!
ReplyDeleteUm no, definitely not.
ReplyDeleteNope, I don't even let my kids outside period without shoes, except for the beach. :)
ReplyDeleteI used to go barefoot, myself ALL of the time, so I let my oldest go barefoot at the park. Easier to clean up the sand and such, you know. Then, my husband clued me in to what sometimes happens "after-hours" at the park with drinking (broken glass), sometimes drugs (needles), and more.... So, I didn't let them go barefoot, knowingly. Flip flops can be flopped off rather easily. :)
ReplyDeleteNope.
ReplyDeleteNo way! Well, maybe in the grass since our park has lots of acres of grassy hills. But there are too many questionable items around the play area, including rough mulch with splinters.
ReplyDeleteMy baby is only 10 months, so we haven't spent much time at the playground yet. I doubt that I would let her go barefoot when she's bigger. God knows what she might step on.
